I agree with what you’re saying

I’ve said I understand and support helping Israel, but we’ve also given Israel over $300 billion dollars.
I'm seeing that number it looks like we give them approximately 3.8 billion a year. with the hamas problems the past year maybe an additional 18 billion?

again I'm not a fan of giving anyone money especially while running a deficit

Everything in that region is about oil. Oil is the economic engine of the world. Until it’s not Israel will be a strategic ally for us and that region as every other country is afraid of Israel and there, intelligence and military. They are stabilizing force for us in that region.

I must have missed it. Could you please be so kind as to repeat it one more time for me?

In regards to Israel:

What the objectives are?
What is the endpoint?
And how this benefits us?
The objective is oil.

The endpoint is continued US dominance with our ally Israel handling much of the heavy lifting and the Middle East.

And it benefits us by keeping us in the driver seat of the world.

Do you understand now?

Do you understand that Ukraine does not have that for us?

Do you understand why Ukraine is not any significant strategic value?

Everything this gentleman says about oil and Israel and the relationship with the United States is pretty accurate. I don’t necessarily agree with his politics.

The objective is oil.
“The United States imports very little oil from Israel. In 2024, U.S. imports from Israel of crude oil and petroleum productsranged from a low of 99 million barrels in January to 296 million barrels in December, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).”

So you call me a Warhawk for supporting Ukraine, but you’re not a Warhawk for supporting an endless war in Israel over oil?

With your first sentence, saying Israel doesn’t give us oil you completely misunderstand how influence in a region works. I never said Israel is the one that gives us the oil. SMH

So help me understand then. Are you saying because you don’t want the other countries in that wrestle to have it and become more powerful?

Putin demands full control of 4 Ukrainian regions, stalling US ceasefire push, Bloomberg reports

Russian President Vladimir Putin is insisting that any deal to end the war in Ukraine must include full Russian control of four partially occupied Ukrainian regions, three Moscow-based sources familiar with the talks told Bloomberg.

The demand has dealt a blow to U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to broker a ceasefire, with frustration reportedly mounting inside the White House over the lack of progress in negotiations.

Indeed.

Putin is showing that he's fully willing to walk away from a peace deal. That puts him in the drivers seat.
