Bezos invested half a billion dollars in Rivian because his space race pissing contest with Elon Musk wasn't enough, so he's trolling his company tesla with this crap.
Rivian is going to release two brand new consumer vehicles, develop another for Ford, and create and build another 100k delivery vans for Amazon in 5 years. All from a company who doesn't have a single vehicle on the road today.
Get real. These tech guys who promise the world rarely deliver.

I agree 100%. Whenever the hell they pick one, USPS will be buying 180,000 vehicles and it will take at least five years to get them all. That’s from established manufacturers like Ford, Oshkosh and AM General. No way a start up pulls it off.
