I always thought the cab if these monster trailers would provide good protection for the driver. The more deaths I read about the more I start to realize I was wrong.

True, but I seriously doubt his family is monitoring this forum, and ideally, this is an information forum. And as a fellow feeder driver, I too, would be curious to know how he was ejected from his tractor. I know of no driver who doesn't wear his or her seat belt.
