To play devil’s advocate,(i did sell my soul right?), if you’re gonna make a stand , it probably only counts if the people you are making a stand against know you are making a stand and they wont know if you present to them a fake-card.

So the fake card is going to prevent negative consequences ? What happens when a fake card will no longer work? Or even worse, what happens if there are penalties associated with presenting a falsified vaccination card?

Wait until having a COVID vaccination is part and parcel of getting a renewed DOT medical card? Are you going to take the shot then or lose your job?

Obviously, I am in sympathy with your position but I have to calculate the probabilities including that of the availability of the vaccine that it took me a while to figure out where to get . Maybe a month from now, it would be no longer available and then I would have to make a decision between my job and putting a mRNA vaccine in my arm.

I could go on in general that unless you are a
Self professed sovereign citizen with no plates on your vehicle that you have been appeasing them for a long time now .

It’s true that a long list of abuses and usurpations has gone on for some time. But This is the line in the sand for a lot of people. I know it is for me

It’s overrun because hospitals laid off so many workers that now they are understaffed. Now they can’t get qualified people back in the door because they went to work in other industries.

It’s the same thing that happened in the airline industry. They laid off a bunch of pilots and crew now the airlines are overwhelmed.

After Covid #1 slowed down, they didn’t need them anymore. Thus the layoffs. Add to that hospitalization rates in general go down in the summer. We will see them tick back up in the coming months. That’s every year.

Let’s see here. The only ones wearing mask are center mangers and supervisors( excluding pre-loaders and their supervisors) hardly anyone is wearing a mask including me. This isn’t the movie I Am Legend or Resident Evil, it’s beyond ridiculous at this point

At my building they’ve threatened that you could be fired immediately. Whether you would get a panel hearing is the great unknown. Of course everyone just wears them on their chin and it’s totally unsanitary and pointless but somehow that’s fine

In my center, 70% of drivers don’t wear one. Only one ORS and the center manager wear them and the center manager only does it because he has to. Everybody here knows it BS.

I’ve seen plenty of people not have them. But because I’ve been dead set against it from the beginning and I’ve made that clear and I’m willing to expose the lie there’s a target on my back. It’s not fair but that’s how it is

What I really would like to know is if you could be fired immediately for something that’s not in the CBA. Maybe someone can enlighten me on this. I guess they could play the refusal to work as directed card but that’s a pretty slippery slope given that most directives from ups sups are ridiculous and unsafe
