UPS Solution for Excessive Overtime?

Never bought my own handtruck
They need to pay inside workers a living wage to get them to show up. A lot of the people working the belt here are doing it just for the benefits.
Full time benefits that are better than almost anyone else’s. Have to be careful here, the benefits and PT pension cannot end up being a concession for a higher wage.

UPS benefits and pension AND pay are already better than, for instance FedEx Express.

They just took the pension away 2 years ago for new hires, raises are all gone for longer than that, and they have to pay for insurance. They also make far less per hour at all levels.

I would not take a pay cut of any amount to make the benefits better than they are.
