Not like its news. UPS knew it was coming hence its crackdown on things like record-drive-release. I am only surprised the government got involved.

$25 million is just a small blip compared to government waste. And a lot of those UPS delays probably really were caused by lazy government employees but UPS couldn't prove it. Another one of those cases where it is cheaper to just pay instead of trying to fight it.

Duh. For years we were told it's fine as long as you scan by 10:29. I scanned plenty at 10:29 and drove 10-15 miles to deliver them.

Before GPS it was harder to prove you were really late. Now everything is tracked.
