Wal-Mart the ugly...handing out raises FDX next?

Lol.
You're the chump with a hundred grand in credit card debt who makes a new year's resolution not to spend money at Starbucks anymore.

Don't have any credit card debt. Learned that lesson looooooong ago.

When you want to talk cuts to the military, Medicare, and social security get back to me. Otherwise, you're just blowing smoke.

Don't need to. Plenty of other places to cut before we start cutting there. Stop presenting a false dilemma.

And now Disney. Still no word from FedEx. Only the evasive interview with Fred.

I saw that interview, Fred talks, but really does not say anything substantial other than NO $1000 bonus. FedEx employees in general have short memories, I do NOT expect any kind of bonus from FedEx Express. There are some things I would like to see, but I'm not going to waste my time typing them up here, because I know from my past experience with this company that FedEx will not do anything other than the minimum required to keep that carrot in front of us.

My manager told me about a webinar they watched yesterday that said FedEx is going to be looking into more automation on the sorts, etc. Supposedly, a bunch of handlers in Memphis quit last week with those storms. Here’s a thought....how about paying more to make it worth their while to come to work in an ice storm?

As long as they can blame the weather I don't think they could care less.

That is one of the 'employment' problems going on right now. Employers want employees to work 4 hours a day, 3 days a week for 10 bucks an hour and cry when they can't find anyone. You can't really survive unless you are REALLLLLY cheap on 10 bucks an hour.

In other places like Sydney, PT pays *more* than FT because they don't have to match benefits and the lack of hours.

The headline we’re more likely to see: Boeing to boost worker pay and benefits as FedEx places substantial order for new widebody aircraft after US lowers corporate taxes.

I'm honestly surprised they haven't added more automation to the sorts, in a bid to shed ft positions.

Luckily I've still got testosterone still flowing, to answer your question, No Sir I can't, and I prefer dark haired girls also. Let me retrace, that response might be considered as sexist. I prefer females that identify as females that have natural dark hair or are intelligent enough to color it darker.:2guns:
