What are you listening to part three

I always liked Rainbow but Ritchie Blackmore tends to overdo his guitar solos in live versions. And of course Ronnie James Dio was their singer during their best years (before Dio left to join Black Sabbath).

I thought his solos were, usually, awesome live. He definitely "walked the fine line" like it or not!

I like rock guitar solos, but soloists like Alan Holdsworth are on another planet. Never mind the studio stars backing him!

I agree, i feel the same way about Steve Vai's solos. Just a bit too "over the top" for my taste.
I discovered this guy last night.
