What is an "option week"

Generally option week is called option days and are used when things come up throughout the year. Our little hub likes a weeks notice but I've seen option days get approved with only 24/48 hour notice.

We can no longer do that here. We can split 2 regular weeks into single days but not the option week. The option week is payed at 50 hours and regular vacations are 45. Maybe that was too confusing.

That makes perfect sense.
We don't have an option week,we get 5 personal days.

In the southern, you can take your option week 3 ways:
As 1 extra week off paid
As 7 individual days paid
Paid out in extra check.

Oddly no, it's 7. It's 58 hours, whether you take it as a week off or 7 individual days.

I got into a little pinch with money a few years back...very unseen large expenses ....they would not allow me to do that
