You are correct unless they are pre-1982 in which case they are all copper and it would be almost double...about $1.98. Then again 2 rolls of pennies are much more effective than one roll of nickles.

Actually it would be as the only folks allowed to ship guns are registered dealers.

Wrong it wouldn't be a issue to ship a gun or anything else illegal. We deliver thousand of packages a day that hold illegal items (guns , drugs, etc). People shipping illegal items aren't telling UPS or any other shipper what's in the box and UPS isn't asking.
