What was agreed on the new contract regarding Health Insurance?

You can go out with 25,30, or 35 years but it wont pay near as much as staying till you are 62. Or retiring and waiting till 62 to draw.
I have known several PT that have retired and they have told me they get a check every month for the amount the contract, at the time they retired, promised. One gal retired under 50 years old with 30 years (started when she was 17) collects $1650/mo. every month. Could be a local or region issue for your area.

$200,000 max?? Are you sure?? Horrible. One visit to the hospital for "suspected" heart attack and 2 nights can probably take a 1/3 of that max. Let alone having to actually have to fix anything. I wouldn't be surprised if a bypass would take the entire max? I don't know, but I'm guessing. What happens when you use the entire MAX?
You will be seeing the doctor after retirement, A LOT MORE than you do now as active.
Try a 100k max.

Wisdom teeth getting pulled out your getting robbed or your lying because 500 each tooth. Wife is a hygienist it does depend on some variables but they also negotiated away my atena and gave us teamcrap. And I thought it couldn't get worse then last contract

Whenever I need dental anything they always say, who do you work for?!!
They probably look at you and think someone like you shouldn't have such good insurance snow they wonder why you look like that if you have such good insurance. When I call they say teamcare sorry never heard of it we don't take it then I explain I work for big brown and it's actually decent insurance when I switched from Aetna I definitely saw the difference

Agreed.... have 2 drivers here that have retired in the the last 6 months and they are drawing full amt that the contract provides for. However, I also know several drivers that retired under old contract and their retirement was cut substantially. I am also under central region.

People forget theses things. They bring up the negative and don't share the positives.
Or maybe they're tired of watching the positives get chipped away little by little.

Teamcare only pays out 2500 per individual per year in dental so chances are either that guy is trolling or he's gonna get a bill in the mail.

Keep selling buddy.

Only FT has the limit. PT Teamcare has no limit on dental.

Or, maybe her wisdom teeth are impacted and it is now an oral surgical procedure, and no longer a dental procedure. Chances are, I don't care.

Fact is, if we only get <40% turnout, this contract will fly and those of us that actually care enough about our brethren to vote no will be left holding the bag along with the apathetic. If we have 60%+ turn out and vote this down, we have leverage and and can get the improvements you want. We should push for all to have 177 coverage, then your $2,500 cap is a non-issue.

Voter turnout is the only voice they will hear.

I totally agree with you and you are tracking right. The problem is that the percentages for the last 4 contracts are averaging under 40. The l997 contract was close to a 50 percent participation just after a 2 week strike.

Part timers do not vote and their percentages of not voting is getting higher with each new contract. Another problem is that a lot of full timers don't vote either, we been drowning in apathy for over 20 years, members have given up on changing the system even if they see a wrong.

Here is what I see happening: We have yet to see the major improvements in the various Pension Plans. I am in the Central so the IBT/UPS plan will improve (heard rumors of 400 to 600 per month extra) The UPS Pension Plan will improve for Part Timers and Several Full Timers maybe). This will the selling point to ratify this contract, most members close to retirement eligibility will jump at a chance to leave. It is like a chess game, total control of reading the membership, create a work environment that appears to be going downhill (example: last peak) and let it eat at the long term employees (management and hourly) and let the fun happen.

Sort of like that episode of the "Twilight Zone" (The Monsters are due on Maple St)...
