When the bubble bursts Amazon stock will have a hard landing.
As will all the retirement funds that are invested in it.

Wall Street loves these tech companies....über has only been around for a couple of years and look at how much they are worth... And it's not like they do anything special they just have a platform for drivers to use... It's ridiculous!Just read they are the most expensive stock there is. Trading at over 900X earnings.
But that's the funny part. Amazon isn't a tech company. They wish they were. They are a retailer with massive over head. Even if Amazon is around in 30-40 years the price that it sells for now will likely just then make sense.Wall Street loves these tech companies....über has only been around for a couple of years and look at how much they are worth... Actually they consider themselves more a tech company now that they have entered the cloud storage business. They've said themselves that they don't think the retail segment of their business will be around in the future. But that's the funny part. Amazon isn't a tech company. They wish they were. With the exception of Apple, a majority of tech companies are way overvalued. Facebook would be a prime example.Wall Street loves these tech companies....über has only been around for a couple of years and look at how much they are worth... Even beating Apple?Just read they are the most expensive stock there is. Trading at over 900X earnings.
Apple is cheaper than ups as far as P/E ratios go.Even beating Apple?
Well they have to try and become a tech company. Otherwise there's no possible way they will ever make the money needed to justify their stock price. The problem though is what happens to the retail side? Do they sell it? That overhead is what kills them.Actually they consider themselves more a tech company now that they have entered the cloud storage business. Wait!!
I can order my steel beams from Amazon now? And get free shipping?
Awesome!!
Unless Amazon bought an airline network and has an extensive feeder network in place along with making healthy profits (which they aren't) they aren't going anywhere.
You do know that you are not really getting free shipping, right? It's just been hidden in the purchase price of the item.
Amazon is building a big distribution center near here. They are working hard to build up their infrastructure.
The cable more then likely costs $.20.. And the shipping discount was probably $.36.. So they made 600% profit more then likely..I bought my son a 6' HDMI for $2.18 with free shipping. Please tell me where in the $2.18 they were able to hide the shipping costs.
