Why is the Left...

I missed it...what was the holocaust reference?
Have to ask @bbsam ... I think it was because Van said the left was whining more than the Jews did in Germany.

It's never good to use 'Nazi', 'Hitler' or Jews...holocaust' in a comparison ... you're going to rile large groups up and it detracts from one's point.

Yes, 'Godwins' Law', etc.

Can't believe I missed it.

I'm slipping.

Tell Mel Brooks.
Absolutely tragic what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust. But did you know that the Russians lost 20 million in the war? Read the other day that Hitler had a bunker compound built near the Eastern Front in Ukraine for him to stay at when he visited. Because he was worried that someone might tell where it was, he had the 15,000 Ukrainian slave laborers executed. Have read of the reprisals in Serbia where 10's of thousands of men, women, and children were slaughtered by the Nazis. The systematic slaughter of the Jews was horrific, no doubt. But 100,000,000 died in WWII including the atrocities committed by the Japanese. But we rarely hear about all the others. What we do hear about is battles and concentration camps. Some groups are heavily invested in keeping the atrocities that happened to them in the public view because their survival in the MidEast depends on our support. No problem with that, but let's remember all the dead.

That's a lot of remembering to do!
Stalin might be responsible for more deaths than Hitler so let's not forget about him either.

Not the point. You self righteous types always rush to the defense of what's politically correct to rush to the defense of. And totally obtuse to the suffering of countless others. Break open a history book.

True, but not during WWII. And Chairman Mao was even worse. And that was after the Chinese lost 20 million in WWII.

That must be how he conveniently managed to forget two big bombs that murdered two hundred thousand or so civilians.
Did I do that? Is there anyone here not aware of those bombs? Are you aware of what was called "The Rape of Nanking?" A lot more civilians died during that. Leave it to an American Leftist to suggest the nuclear bombs were the worst thing in a war that claimed 100,000,000 lives. Why? Because those evil white Americans did it!

They'd all be dead now anyway ... just a matter of timing.

You used the Holocaust as a punchline, not me. Pointing to other atrocities to defend yourself? Why? Did I somewhere suggest that somehow the Russian suffering was somehow less? No. You're caught in idiocy again, van. Give it up.
