This is the problem with the "A" typical trump supporter.
Being devoid of common sense and practical math. While you linger on and on about "emotions", you forget something more important about the election process that "trumps" political positions and bluster.
This election is going to come down to basic math.
Math that just isnt in Trumps favor. Yes, he can inflame every WHITE right wing nutball in this country, just like Romney did, and he will still get smoked in the general election. The only problem for Trump, is that he is plissing off the GOP base, and remember, that he was only winning less than 37% of the vote before the others quit, which means that 63% of the republican base were voting against him.
With prominent republicans coming out and saying they will simply NOT vote for Trump or Hillary, that takes away votes Donald cant afford to lose.
With each person coming out against him within the party, the GOP is signaling that they are willing to lose this election to Hillary just to stop Trump, who doesnt represent the republican party at all.
Trumps negative ratings are at all time highs for a candidate of the GOP. NOBODY is disliked more than Trump.
The key to this race, like all the others, is demographics.
Trump cannot win the majority of the black vote.
Trump cannot win the majority of the hispanic vote.
Trump cannot win the majority of the Asian vote.
Trump cannot win the majority of the single women vote.
Trump cannot win the majority of the middle eastern muslim vote.
Without these demographics in his column, he is a dead man walking.
Once Hillary and Bernie team up and unify the party, Trump will be doomed. His VP pick will also come into play.
"WE" progressive liberals got EXACTLY who we wanted to run against, and now all we need is for Trump to pick Sarah Palin and you might as well stay home in November.
It doesnt matter what bluster is said, or how Trump got to the nomination.
As for your confidence that Trump is the man, look at yesterdays primaries which were held a WEEK after Cruz and Kasich dropped out of the race.
A total of
180,231 republican votes were cast and YET,
58,944 still voted AGAINST TRUMP in the state. ALMOST 50% voted against him.
This hardly represents a plurality of the republican base. Those 59k have a reason NOT to vote for Trump, and in november, they STILL may not vote for TRUMP.
WHY, if Trump was technically the only one on the ballot, would 59K vote against him if he was so popular?
Why not forget about the fox news hype or donalds own hype. The numbers tell the whole story bro.
The only people excited about Trump are the "A" typical white fringe of this country. Sorry, but facts are facts.
If it wasnt, you would see plenty of people of color at his rallies and we all can see 20/20 as his crowds continue to be rednecked lily white backwoods drones dumb enough to fall for his B.S.
The democrats would be crapping their pants right now, if Trump crowds were filled with hispanics, blacks, asians and other people of color. But there isnt, so there is no need to panic.
Hillary is going to trounce Trump and you and the others going to the edge to support him are only setting yourself up for a major disappointment.
The RCP is the most accurate source of polling data in the country. They have NEVER missed a prediction for the white house since it began.
Other than rassmussen, who we have already discounted before as a fox news unreliable source for polling.. here are the latest numbers for the week.
Keep in mind, both McCain and Romney were alot closer to OBAMA at this same time in their election cycles. Look how far behind trump has been week after week.
