Ron Carey knew none of that, nor did he know that he would be removed from office the next year?
Had he known this pension increase was "unsustainable", then surely H&H would have known as well?
Yet over the ensuing 17 consecutive years in office they did nothing to "beat back' this supposed political maneuver.
In fact, they did the opposite, they allowed UPS and others to withdraw.
If this was what you say it was, H&H had a duty to "right the wrong", and the perfect time to do it would have been as soon as they took the helm.
But instead, they stayed the course of their predecessor, why?
