Here that usually means there was bad weather during local sort. One year most of the drivers beat the snow storm but it took reload (extended center local sort) all damn night to park the trucks because they were stuck. We finished parking after midnight and one preloader showed up just in time for the preload to be canceled as well as the entire day's operation.

Or when you pass the dispatch sup coming to work when you're leaving to go home. Every time this happened to me last year I said "Thanks" and we both laughed becuase there was nothing neither of us could really do about it.
