Nice. I think the Black Panthers have a handful of members these days, and the vast majority of African-Americans think they are idiots. Although I disagree with the verdict, I heard some commentary last night that made sense. It's apparently very difficult to get a Second Degree Murder conviction in Florida. The prosecution should have never gone for "Murder 2", but should have tried to get Zimmerman on Manslaughter instead. Game over.

Not really,,,, may have something to do that they are holding the gun up and saying that they were coming after you George. I "would" take that serious whoever says it whether they meant it or not

So Nugen should have been taken seriously? Or we couldn't see the gun so he couldn't really pose a threat?

I would sure hate to see some fine, upstanding members of the NBP get caught in a cross fire when they roll into the wrong "whitey" neighborhood that happens to be well organized.

I didn't say I'd be out canvasing the neighborhood looking for little Shabass to come along with his bag of skittles. But if he thinks he and his little boy scout troop are going to show up on my stoop to burn me out and have a little lynch/rape party he'll meet with a tad bit of resistance.

I would hope.... No one.... would think Martin "got what he deserved".

It's readily apparent, the jury followed the judges instructions.... and based their verdict on the facts of the case.

Thats the way the judicial system works.... As it should.


Zimmerman's brother has given some very "frank" and articulate interviews.

I am not looking to "win" an argument with you or to put you down ---As Liberal TOS will tell us on pure numbers --not % there are more poor people that are White-- -than people of color ----if we go with that --than our jails should be over 70% white --13.6 % Latin/Hispanic --and 12.6 % black.

Our prisons are over 50 % Black --sure I cannot solve this problem --YOU can and good people of Color. Have to get by DENIAL --and start to deal with real problems.

One real problem --Conservative Black people have requested time at the NationaL NAACP convention --they want to discuss these issues ---there voices will not be heard ---SHAMEFUL !!!

In NYC--Black and Hispanic make up 54 % of the population combined --but commit OVER 90% of the crime --stats do not lie.

I feel the verdict was correct and inevitable as it was a legal issue.

The conclusion that Zimmerman got off does not feel right. His getting off, as bbsam says, is still to be known.

If this case were to happen in Mexico (Zimmerman's homeland, I believe), and Travor was just there on vacation.
Same situation, but instead a hotel/motel complex and same circumstances.
There would be a US public outcry about the verdict and police handling in Mexico.
And of course US citizens pointing out how dangerous Mexico is, and to never visit there.
But, this happened on US soil, so it's all fine and goody !

And on the other hand, if it would have happend in Mexico, Zimmerman would have been convicted, since he wouldn't have been allowed to carry a gun in the first place, and definitly wouldn't be able to justify it as self defense after being told by the "cops" (911) to stay putt !
In matter of fact, Zimmermann would have been conficted in almost any other country of this planet, except some war torn ones.

This outcome in Florida opens the door to allow almost any common fist fight to have fetal outcomes with no concequences.

bull-____. Sharpton Jackson and the DOT chose it for him. The police on the scene had it right in the first place, as a jury of his peers has concluded.
