Ran over 2 dogs in my career in feeder.
Hit 4-5 deer. had a ride along for a couple because management said it was my fault. Not sure how when they jump out of woods right in front of a truck going 55.

Ya, felt bad about the dogs but did not stop.
Pretty sure they were dead when 18 wheels go over them.

Is that inhumane to not assure the animal is deceased and not just crushed and in agony?

Didn’t a mail lady just get mauled to death by a roving pack of so called ‘nanny dogs’? I can actually think of many excuses to hit a dog…

If the animal didn't die from being run over by a semi then it is probably going to die soon after. What are you going to do - hold it until it passes? It's just a dog. (I know, bring the hate). As a package car driver, I'd stop because it is considered an accident and I'd want to keep my job.

Its an animal. Simple
