Its an option if you have more time to go but not worth the hassle if you only have a couple of more years left. That's definitely not for me, I'll finish out my career in package
I'm only putting a couple more years in.Its an option if you have more time to go but not worth the hassle if you only have a couple of more years left.
Too bad they don't sell anything like that in AZ.
Ok.Apparently he said his brakes failed much earlier and he chose to bypass a runaway ramp just a couple of miles before the crash. He chose to continue on for miles to the bottom of the hill knowing he had no brakes. Dumb.
Then this...He was 23, Cuban immigrant. Apparently a really good guy, just ed up really bad.
All you tough guy, hothead loudmouths....the safety deniers.Who are you talking to?
"See?" It's like you're screaming, "I told you so!!" to someone.
Make good decisions and be safe, not difficult.
An ABC article I read said that he passed an emergency ramp and kept going down the hill. He admitted to police that he closed his eyes because he thought he was going to die.Must be more to it. All that story says is that his brakes overheated.
I'm sure he probably wishes he died now.An ABC article I read said that he passed an emergency ramp and kept going down the hill. He admitted to police that he closed his eyes because he thought he was going to die.
Green card holder. Looks to me like a young, naive driver without the proper training or respect for the dangers of the job.Any info on this guy? I seriously remember hearing that he was an illegal. Was that true? Idk. Obviously, he isnt gonna have any licensing of thats the case.
Sounds like a UPS'er.....Green card holder. Looks to me like a young, naive driver without the proper training or respect for the dangers of the job.
Good guys can up, those two things are not mutually exclusive.Ok.
Then this...
Which is it?
Ok everyone, quiet the hell down so @quad decade guy can hear himself talk!!! It's important he hears himself being important and stuff!!!!All you tough guy, hothead loudmouths....the safety deniers.
You know the folks who belittle over load retainers? Look the other way and stay silent as fellow drivers do stupidly, dangerous stuff on the yard and on the road. Being deliberately obstinate.....making glib generalizations.
IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE....LISTEN UP.
And yeah, I've been telling "someone" for awhile...
Not difficult....true.
My dad (RIP) told me airs have a failsafe where air loss stops the truck. I think he's lyingApparently he said his brakes failed much earlier and he chose to bypass a runaway ramp just a couple of miles before the crash. More bullying.Ok everyone, quiet the hell down so @quad decade guy can hear himself talk!!! It's important he hears himself being important and stuff!!!!
Hes right, but....Brake loss doesn't have to be by air or hydraulic loss, if you "overcook" the brakes they get too hot and become useless, you can put it to the floor and get nothing. The tractor/trailer uses the same pads/shoes for emergency braking, so if he burned them off there would be no failsafe. My dad (RIP) told me airs have a failsafe where air loss stops the truck. You have nothing I want.More bullying.
BTW, I welcome and encourage intelligent and even spirited conversation. Try that. This is not^.
Jealousy is not becoming. Gives an image of petty weakness and stuff!!!!
