At least on my side, they shipped it out 2 weeks earlier than normal instead of the end of the month... At least they knew it had a better chance of escaping the "bottle neck"

Because it is their "managers" lack of planning that leads to this kind of thing. The same guy who sits behind desks and fakes their numbers all year while harassing drivers for minor things.

We had a 14 hr weather related Christmas Eve once at our air center. Yesterday though, we needed it. Light in volume and done within 4 hours. Tomorrow though, lol. Yeah good luck. They're already calling in people for work early. We have a jets worth of volume already waiting.

I'm sure they could've forced work today.

They're either doing something right bypassing the volume we normally get, or it just hasn't hit us hard yet.
