Significant increase in pay for part timers. Three year progression for all positions. Higher starting rate for full time drivers. Top pay does not need to go up much if we get the other things mentioned. No forced Saturdays for RPCD. Reduce the gap in top pay between 22.4 and RPCD. Thirty minute paid lunch with option for additional 30 minute unpaid. A/C in all new vans. 9 hour target route time year round. That time is based on reasonable work load not 22 year olds running all day.

Get rid of the garbage pension. 10-15% of pay match.
Garbage pension? That's hilarious. Retire at 60 with 35 years and get almost $50K/yr for life. That's an extra million dollars or more for most people without working. That is crazy good. Part timers are working for scraps while you will be making bank without even working.

You are not including SS and IRA or 401k. Closer to $100k/yr without lifting a finger.

Why do you disagree? I can retire right now at $80k on my measly pension and SS and IRA and 401k and my Army pension. All this after losing $80k of my IRA this year due to a down market. Not to worry. It is all coming back.

What do you really want ?
Part timers are well underpaid and there is no incentive for them to want to stay, revolving door position and tons of issues that trickle down to the drivers and headaches for non union management …start w the pre load make the job more attractable so you can acquire more skilled workers …starting pay should be 20 an hour and everyone gets a 50 c raise every year….for those who are grandfathered in they get a new rate who’s is 50c for every year you worked meaning if u have 10 years in your pay is 25 and hr…..20 plus 50c for every year….and then of course you get your progression 50c raise every year ..it makes the job somewhat attractable….also if pre loaders work on the 6th day punch they should get overtime , it’s obsurd that ups pays a driver to come into the pre load and do pre load work on a Saturday for 60 an hour while a pre loader is working side by side for 16 an hour at least pay the pre loaders time and half for 6th day punch….drivers should not have any devices facing them while they work it’s just too much invasion of privacy what if bob likes to pick his nose??? Also all vehicles should be equipped with a minimum of a fan if not AC….you want to put a camera in the truck to watch the driver pick his nose but u won’t put a fan in there to cool him off so he doesn’t dehydrate??? There goes ups again stepping over a dollar bill to pick up a quarter ….They do :censored2: ass backwards…also get rid of PVDs….if u can’t get rid of them and u desperately need to have them in the building to get if a done then offer the routes out to union pre loaders who are all ready in the building, and are already in the union..why give it to some rando off the street give it to your union brother that just slaved for 4 hours so he can take home 30 dollars…let the guy get a few extra bucks driving some packages around plus it’s good practice for them if they want to eventually become a driver(again I think they shouldn’t exist period but if they do exist and a building must have some then go in seniority order and offer them to pre loaders who r willing to do the job….

Far as the loaders getting paid overtime for the six punch that's in your local supplement.

Wouldn't used to have that until we got that negotiated in


They're not going to pay loaders $30 an hour when a new driver is only making $21 per hour

What are you taking about loaders in my building make over 30 an hour???
