I can see why.

I'm assuming it's considered volunteering for a non-scheduled workday. I know it's always been like that but just didn't know with new contract it pertained to peak also.

Plus I thought the '"no forced 6th punch" only applied to rpcd. At my building we haven't even gotten our contract booklets. Not sure if they're even out yet elsewhere.

We invited the package division and our local to our parking lot meeting today. Only one group showed up. Hard for me to say the issue is on the local when the ibt will not address this issue head on with it's membership. Letting this fester is not making it any better.

I asked my supe basically the same thing but in question form and she kinda shrugged, said no.

Was told there won't be enough work to run a full pre-load on Mondays during peak so I guess that's why they're going with volunteering first.

Yeah that's what I would've done. This was sent to me from another building. They told the guys they couldn't take pictures of the sheet or have copies. Apparently Mark Colona doesn't want people to see this, so figured I would post it

The ups DIAD training says the driver and helper should be using separate devices and taking pictures ..why are we not doing this? They told us to not take pictures now that it’s peak

If your helper has the phone or Zebra they can record in idle, in travel, bulkhead open etc all they want. Huge plus
