I just want to make friends!
Your point?
Timing.
Your point?
Just want to make sure you knew. Wouldn't want you to get a swelled head.
I'm shocked, shocked that you would think working for FedEx is "barking up the wrong tree!" Maybe that's why you're unimportant, you work for the wrong company. Is that your reasoning for barking up wrong trees all your life?
He's still trying to hold onto his memories of once upon a time when the daily work experience at Fedex was good. There was prestige, stature, high levels of public recognition and standing.Aren’t you so bitter? You must have lost your “sweet deal” 3 day a week FO route. Oh well, it was imaginary anyway.

Ah, the ultimate yardstick. I'm in Idaho, traveling to Jackson, WY tomorrow to see the Grand Tetons. Enjoy whatever it is that you do.I don't think I'm important. My paycheck does, though. Go figure!

I'm the leader? Wow, I'm honored!! Had no idea! No, I complain about the screwing over tens of thousands received while FedEx would tell us how much they cared. And you defend that. But now, for better or worse, I'm trying to make the most of it as a retiree. My $22k a year plus freedom is better to me than whatever you make. Because no matter what you make you are tied to it. They own you. Not to mention I've figured out where to live in world class scenery and still save money while not sacrificing. Sometimes less is more because it requires you to come up with solutions. So thank you FedEx, couldn't have done it without you! It's so cute when the guy who leads the board in complaining about his compensation (or lack thereof) pretends that pay isn't that important.
If all I had to retire on was $22k a year, I would consider my work career a total failure. I am sure you have plenty of free time because $1800 a month isn't gonna allow you to spend money doing much. Didn't you save any money or do any retirement planning?I'm the leader? There's still plenty of productive contribution left in you and me. The difference between then and now is that we now have a little bit of control over how that productive contribution is utilized . AB831 is trying to get to that same place where he has some control which is unlike Dano and IWBF where every single day of their lives is spent under the control of an economic force far greater than their own.I'm the leader? I was taught as a young man if you work hard you'll be rewarded. FedEx taught me different. I now want to see some things that I'd never have a chance to experience tied to a poorly paid job. Spending my money in the economy is productive enough for me.There's still plenty of productive contribution left in you and me. And there will come a day when there isn't enough gold in Fort Knox sufficient to make them willing to put up with even one more day totally subjugated to the will and power of those forces.
If you have to have a nice(expensive) home, newer vehicles, take trips to sporting events, etc, more power to you. I get enough travel to places I want to see, plus the internet to explore, to keep me happy. I still have a better life compared to billions. It's all in the perspective.Retirement on $22k a year sounds like a great life? You sure have low expectations.
I plan on spending more than $22k a year on weed. Plus however many twinkies and Krispy Kreme that results in.If you have to have a nice(expensive) home, newer vehicles, take trips to sporting events, etc, more power to you.
