We used to be able to sign up for half days on Saturday’s; basically opting out of the 8 hour guarantee. Then the local got butthurt about it for reasons I don’t really understand. Working 5 hours on Saturday for some extra fun money is one thing and working 11 hours and ruining you weekend is another.
