Abortion

Someone may have already mentioned it but it's funny how Democrats say you can still have your 2nd Amendment rights while they want to restrict gun ownership and usage, but they're howling at the idea that you can still get an abortion, but not after a heartbeat is detected or 8 weeks or whatever a state chooses to pass.

It will be fine

It sounds like you’re not paying close attention. These laws ban abortion, you can’t still get one if they are upheld. If you’re going to make a stupid argument at least know what you’re talking about.

Maybe you should look a little closer. Alabama's bans abortions except to protect the mother's health. Others are allowing abortions up to a certain point.

It's not a "party" liberal/conservative decision. The Supreme Court ruled that States can limit 2nd amendment rights. The Supreme court also ruled on Roe vs Wade. I hope, even with the new drunk on board, that they will uphold past precedent.

And another way to look at it...It's funny how republicans say it Government over-reach by restricting 2nd amendment rights, but they have no problem with the government telling a women what she can do with her own body.

A gun is a gun. But a baby is a separate life. Not just her body. Human life should be sacred. Especially in it's most innocent and vulnerable state.

A gun is a gun that 40,000 people died from last year in the US. That is a ridiculous number....where is the outrage? FTR I'm a gun owner who thinks we need better laws. An embryo that is not viable outside the womb is not human life. I wish people wouldn't get abortions, but it's not my place to tell a women what is right and wrong with HER body.

I cant speak for republicans since I don't belong to a party but I think this response is common in that liberals always phrase abortion rights and the fight against abortions as an effort to control a womans body. they try to shy away from and dismiss the thought that there is the life of a baby involved in that abortion discussion. They fail to recognize that there are people who are as passionate about saving that babys life as liberal women are about their right to abort that baby.

I understand why. I have an 18 month old grandson. its sickening to think about aborting that little bundle of joy.

its easier to think of it as some evil government trying to control a womans body.

marketing is everything . The conscience still has a voice thus you stay away from what would make you ill.
