Adult Signature Required

My del. notices state that when a signature is required the signature must be obtained and then the driver must hand the pkg. to a person. There's not a lot of wiggle room in that language.

You are talking about a whole different package. IF the package says signature required (like it says on the delivery notice) then you must get a signature. Period. But the delivery notice can be and is designed to be used for those deliveries that we normally get signatures for, but for what ever reason cant be there to sign for the package. And for the "signature required" package, yes you do have to hand it to the customer. But again a totally different delivery than what is being discussed here.
