The only way you get AC is if you tell them you only want to drive a rental, and even then it's a maybe. Point is, you need to get off the whole AC thing, it's not going to happen. Oh sure, it may be used as a bargaining chip to get something more important, which there certainly are.

the workers think the way teh capitalists want them to think, so its very difficult for them to organize around a/c in cars which would be reasonable

I was in a top heat/humidity area in the South. Didnt need AC didnt wear a dress to work either.

We will be able to wear dresses to work in the next contract, if we ask, but we will not be getting air conditioning. We are now a woke company.
