People talk about how terrible that was but it really wasn’t that bad. Have the Mets paid a player that isn’t playing for them for years..... yeah but 1 million is a drop in the bucket of overal payroll

Just read about it. He got almost 30 million so the Mets wouldn’t have to pay him 6 million after they released him.

For me the problem is consistency.


It was something stupid like August if last year before trout hit under 275 for a full week. Harper will never be that.


Harper May struggle to his 200 one month then hit 450 the next.
