How do guys with more seniority than you already don’t have your route? We rebid every two years.

I'm in the Western Region. If you win a bid it's a bid for life. I only won the route because the previous driver was on disability during the second half of covid and it was going out with 12-14 hour days. No one wanted to cover it let alone bid it. After I won it within a couple months we finally got the staffing we needed and it finally went back to it's "normal" stop count.

Some locals the package routes are for life. In the 177 we don’t rebid yearly in package. You get the route it’s yours. Feeders it’s every year.

Must be a tiny center, 15 drivers. Doesn’t even seem possible. If every driver took the allotted time you’re allowed to decide it would take a month.
