If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.

Yep, Biden said he was gonna' fix it. Made things worse.
So did Ford and Reagan. Things got worse for those two Presidents also. The current Fed is drawing parallels with the 80's inflation and stagflation as they raise rates while maintaining near full employment. The capitalism pendulum can and does swing hard in each direction. Worldwide inflation will be with us for multiple years. We can't just suck the excess money out of the economy overnight

My bank hasn't paid crap for a long time that's why I don't leave that much money in there

So what’s the point of paying your bills on time having good credit and saving money to put down down on a house if they’re going to penalize you might as well spend it all on hookers and blow.
