My wife is an insurance agent , she cant believe the price increases , we are all paying for the disasters and we can than the dopes in California when you get your bill next yr ,, shes got a lot of elderly on fixed incomes who are struggling to pay home owners

My house is on a little hill and higher than the street level so flooding is never a problem. There is a big creek a couple of miles away but I am a lot higher than that.If my house gets flooded out, there won't be insurance agency around to pay me off
