I'm not aware of any law that prohibits that.I am a casual driver that just ended my season as a driver. I will now be working part time until June. I looked into FedEx And there are jobs available from 12-6 (I'd be working at UPS from 7am-10 ish.
Is it allowed to work at both places? I figured I'd check in here before checking with boss/union

... and be a man about it!I've done my best to fit in
Just when you think you are original you are not , so look first to make sure before you thinkSorry I'm new here. I didn't know this would be something that was previously discussed.
You'll lift 2,000lbs in the first 10 minutes....Just applied for twilight shift at ups, I have been a fedex home delivery driver for 8 years. Gonna go and try to play with the big boys now. Lifting 2000lbs of packages a day is gonna be "Totes amazballs"
Why would the Union have issue with double sortingI'm thinking about applying to FedEx after winter and working at both. My hub used to be really liberal about letting P/T guys do doubles until the Union took issue with it.
Taking away a PT union job I would guess, or turn it FT.Why would the Union have issue with double sorting
I thought he was going to say that they made it go by senorityTaking away a PT union job I would guess, or turn it FT.
Probably they want UPS to hire enough staff to cover shifts (and the extra dues money don't hurt)
No. He's right. They wanted more FT positions. They didn't get them and we lost the ability to do doubles, except during peak.I thought he was going to say that they made it go by senority
