My nephew moved to Phoenix years ago. Sold his motorcycle after the first year. Said he got tired of being roasted alive in traffic.

That too---although I'm the first to admit I'm not a fan of baking in the hot sun on a m/c while waiting for a long traffic light to change either. Give me a nice 70 to 75 degree day and I will ride all day.

Airport gateway is a sweet job. Easiest job I ever had. The only crappy part is you can't be a cover driver, but you can wait to be a full time driver.

No chance at advancement. No package cars or feeder jobs as far as I know. If you're looking for more job opportunities, the airport isn't it.

I think what's going on is union representation isn't that big in airport gateways, so they don't know, or are lied to about becoming drivers.
