Arizona's anti-imigration law...

Not sure if I'm going, yet. Currently this city and Alberta is booming (too many jobs, and not enough people).
I got some very good job applications out there at the moment. (the best of the best) - don't want shift work , nor low pay.
Kind of awkward for me to get away right now, but with combination of my airmiles, it's only $335 for a 2 week Mexican all inclusive vacation.
I can't even live here that cheap !

It's like trying to herd cats. As long as Mexican nationals can make some money, they're going to keep coming. If business owners didn't hire them, there would be no reason to be here. They are cheap, hard-working, and it's the junior capitalists out there (the small business owners the GOP is always wailing about) that exploit them. Good Republican principles and hypocrisy at work.

So are you saying that only Republicans are small business owners and they only hire illegals...Democrats dont own small businesses and dont hire illegals? And are you saying that the only reason that illegals come to America is for work and not the free healthcare, food, housing, sell drugs, anchor babies, etc?

They have free healthcare in Mexico. Meaning they can seek any doctor or hospital they wish , with no charges !
Please remember the US is the only country that doesn't have National Healthcare, besides Turkey, in the OECD !

Food and housing, that is you're problem if your system allows anyone with no greencard, or fake greencard to collect those items.
In the computer ages of the 21st century, how is it possible to have fake greencards, and present it to the government to get freebies ?

maybe and I just might be mistaken they come here to avoid something like this...............
On the morning of February 22, 2010, when Ciudad Mier was preparing for their annual festival, fifteen SUV's with the initials of the Gulf cartel (CDG) entered the city from the access road to Reynosa like some wild horses. The gunmen headed directly to the headquarters of the Municipal Police, got out of their vehicles and suddenly, the loud sound from the rattle of machine guns was heard hitting the old building. People all around hit ground and took refuge as best as they could.

After a few minutes the sound of gunfire subsided. Six scared municipal police officers were beaten and while gasping with their mouth open, cover in blood and with fear in their eyes, they were taken out of the police headquarters by the gunmen, who shouted insults against Los Zetas. That was the last time the six police officers were seen and it was also the last time there were municipal police officers in Ciudad Mier.
The criminal group set up gunmen in the three main entrances to the heart of Ciudad Mier and thus set up a wall so that four SUV's full of gunmen could safely travel the streets to search inside the homes and businesses in order to locate specific people. During that time at the main plaza across from the police headquarters, the wall was used to execute people. Bleeding to death, two men that had been found by the gunmen were taken to the plaza. There they were shot and then beheaded. Their heads ended up being placed in a corner of the plaza for everyone to see. Over time, because of the frequent executions on that corner, a name was given to it, that corner became known as "The Corner of the Decapitated."

1923 there was no "legal" immigration. The boat landed and all you had to be is healthy !

The weak and unhealthy had to return on the same boat home.
That's how US immigration worked in those days.

Trust me, in 1923 they were just as hated as you hate Mexicans these days.
There were no jobs, and yet more comming ! That's all they needed !

I have never said I hate Mexicans !! I don't like the illegal immigrant criminals. There is a legal way for Mexicans and any other foreigners to come into this country. Once here the legal way, they live in the same community I do with the same rights.....except they can't be president. You don't seem to understand the difference.

A mob of both students and adults angry over the impending vote by the Tucson school board to make Raza studies or Mexican-American studies an elective, rather than forcing children to take the race-based curriculum rushed into the meeting room, chaining themselves to chairs.
Police simply stood by and watched as the loud mob took-over the room and refused to leave.
Raza studies (race studies) have been taught in the TUSD for about a dozen years.
One of the textbooks they use is titled “Occupied America,” which was written by Rodolfo Acuña and includes a speech given by activist and university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez in which he says: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).
The book also talks about the need for Mexico to re-take seven states in the Southwestern United States.
The following rather shocking quotes are taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167):
“Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (also known as the Plan of San Diego).
“The Southwest would become a Chicano nation.”
Obviously, teaching children such ethno-centric values and even over-taking a portion of this country, through violence if necessary can only lead to those students’ further isolation and distrust of anyone who looks or sounds different from them.

I actually saw the hate & the rage in the Hispanic high school students when they marched in Vegas......they crossed the street in front of our car shaking their fists and shouting with hateful looks on their faces. Scarey! When the light turned green, they didn't walk any faster and just slowly slogged across the rest of the way.
