Arizona's anti-imigration law...

You know the Criminal Record law in Canada, eh ?
Well, nothing gets buried in your record, (unless done as a juvenille).
However, people can pay for a pardon after a certain time period, but the pardon will show up on the criminal record.
I think most people would let the DUI stay in their record, then a "Pardon". Because a pardon could mean anything, from burglary, to assault, or dug dealing, etc.

Anyways, heard of that Ship full of refugees heading towards us ?
Now, I wished we had the American law, and just not let them embark !

Illegal Immigrants Bear 8% of Children Born in the U.S.

As discussion over whether to end birthright citizenship intensifies, a new study of Census Bureau data reveals that 8 percent of children born in the United States in 2008 were parented by illegal immigrants.
The Pew Hispanic Center, a project of polling organization Pew Research Center, finds that, of the 4.3 million babies born in 2008, roughly 340,000 were born to undocumented aliens. This is double the percentage of illegal immigrants in the U.S., owing in part to the fact that the illegal immigrant population is largely comprised of men and women at birthing age.
In addition, high birthrates among undocumented aliens give that population a similar share of children in the U.S. The study finds that children born to illegal immigrants account for 7 percent of the total population of people under the age of 18, or 5.1 million children. Four million, or 79 percent, of those children were born in the United States, making them U.S. citizens.

PHOENIX (Arizona Daily Star)About one out of every 15 children in the United States was born to a family where at least one parent is in this country illegally, according to a new report today.
And four out of five of them are “anchor babies,” the Pew Hispanic Center concluded.
The figures, which the organization calculated based on 2009 U.S. Census Bureau estimates, are the best estimates to date of the scope of the issue which has resulted in calls to amend the U.S. Constitution to deny automatic citizenship to children solely by virtue of their birth within this country.
That percentage of children of illegal immigrant parents might be increasing.
The overall figure is about 6.8 percent of all children 17 and younger have at least one illegal immigrant parent.
But the center calculated that about 340,000 of the 4.3 million babies born in the United States in 2008 were offspring of “unauthorized” immigrants. That computes out to 7.9 percent.
Researchers peg the number of illegal immigrants in the United States at something slightly in excess of 4 percent of the total population.

Initially , the ship was headed to the U.S but apparently some of the inhabitants of the ship were reading browncafe and saw your thoughts on educating those from other countries and word spread to the Captain . As he changed course, He shouted gleefully, "To Vancouver and then to...., EDMONTON the promised land, home of the greatest man on the planet."

Obama would rather spend countless amounts of taxpayer money on suing the state of arizona for having the b*lls to stand up and protect there citizens.Than doing his job as commander in chief and taking that money and securing the boarder. But hes got the nerve to complain and start a law suit and does nothing to fix it.You know what its all about this guy does not like being showed up.The state knows that the fed law trumps state law but if they get the feds to open an eye than its all worth it.Obama should be in arizona and asking what he can do to help. But he would rather make us suffer just so he can make a point.Don't worry cheryl I read this one and made some edits.

Very good trplnkl, I like that play of words. Of course, since you just coined a new word, it has to have a new meaning, I would suggested in this case , it could mean "shipwrecked" or in a broader more vernacular sense, "Screwed".

Not many people knew that she was married to Gene Wilder. (Willy Wonka, Dr Frankensteen)

Helped establish the Gilda Radner Ovarian Cancer Detection Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and they made 3 films together. Only someone who was living in a cave didn't know about their marriage.
