Any way you look at it that tractor has seen better days. Wonder what happened. That's a CNG those aren't really that old that I'm aware of.

It may have. 277xxx series is not more than 10 years old which is nothing for some feeder depts.Any way you look at it that tractor has seen better days. Wonder what happened.
Those 277xxx CNG’s are hot garbage. No power, herky jerky transmission, always having transmission faults
Yeah, we all agree on that, but aPaid by the hour.
Only the rookies get the crappy tractors.Yeah, we all agree on that, but aty tractor backing under a trailer, or onto a door just pisses me off.
If only that were true.Only the rookies get the crappy tractors.
Oh I forget you're a cover guy(rookie)they do get to drive the real feeder drivers tractors every now and then.If only that were true.

Me? I was only a rookie for a year I feel your pain. I'd hate to be a feeder rookie for as long as you've been. Maybe someday you'll make it to fulltime.
How is this working out for you? Who exactly did you talk to during this process? I'm in the same situation.I’ve got X-rays, MRIs, and a arthroscopy that shows this isn’t a case of just regretting going to feeder.
Do you really think I want to go work harder and show less on my W2? Or do you think I would rather go back to the position that has me doing the same muscle movements as I’m doing at physical therapy while I await surgery versus leaving the company entirely?
I was FT package for a few years before I came to feeder, I know exactly what that job entails. I was referred to my orthopedic surgeon by a PC driver who had a double replacement and is now back to work and claims he’s feeling better than ever.
I said it once and I’ll say it again. I understand that the concept of leaving feeder to go to package based on it being easier on the body sounds ridiculous. However, I know my body and I know what does and doesn’t bother it. Sitting for more than 30 mins or so is very uncomfortable, so whether I get back to package or not I am leaving feeder.
Not at my building. We joke that the only way to have your own tractor is to either be in sleepers or still be in progression. They will fire a senior guy for holding keys in a heart beat but won’t say a word to our newer drivers. Especially since most of our newer drives are anything but white and they all are quick to throw the race card around when they are disciplined.Only the rookies get the crappy tractors.
I'm just messing with @Just A UPS Guy because he's not a senior feeder driver. We were all assigned our own tractor in my old building. Only guys who weren't were vacation cover guys and the couple of extra guys that didn't have seniority. Right around the time I left we had a couple of anything but white rookies come in and thought they could just take any tractor they wanted. If they didn't like what extra tractor they were assigned for the night(usually older ones but ran fine)they would cry like babies and throw that same card around. Not at my building.
