Just had some twin screw rentals brought in, I grab one. I notice the fifth wheel slide is all the way forward so I hook up to a 53' and slide it back. Grab the pup I am supposed to take and make a turn around the hub, bam, landing gear ripped a mudflap smooth off and bent it into a u shape. Called the sup and he says just go to automotive and have them take off the other one.

Were you having one of those days? lol it's funny the rear trailer is never where you need it to be.

Actually wasn't me, just having fun with Moar....I was probably still in my favorite office - C203, at the time!

Touché on the good find. Just disliked the directions. Try finding C203 without entering a door lol. It's like night and day compared to the one under dispatch.

Over a year ago, I posted about having problems backing in the rain, because I had trouble seeing anything. Someone suggested turning on the mirror heat. Last week, it rained, I turned on my mirror heat and it was like building a set with no rain.

Thank you to whomever passed that tip along.

Same thing at night, in the rain, on the road. Clears 'em up fast.

They make us go over a sheet with directions for rentals. Remove Mudflaps is first step.

Later on in the day I was moving equipment and took an empty to another hub, then was supposed to bobtail back. I remembered I had no mudflaps, I told them after I got there that I couldn't bobtail back. Was instructed to bring the same empty back with me. Lol

Yeah, you can get a ticket without flaps when you're TOing.

There is one by the white belt around194. There is a hallway and a set of stairs on then other side. The restroom up there was one of the cleanest in the building. Still had paper towels also. The people in the offices up there whined until they put a keypad on it. Guess they didn't want everyone using it..

Saw a guy do that at balmd a while back, he had the whole outbound lane blocked. It went on for like 20 minutes there was literally a line of tractor trailers all the way around the building past the dolly patch waiting to leave while this clown went back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.... completely oblivious to everyone else in the yard.

I will do it if I have a rental and the room. If it takes more than a few pullups, I'll walk the dolly back by hand. I would never try it on that back wall in balmd.

Sometimes if you put the mirror heater on, the rain seems to not accumulate as much. It always worked for me anyway.[/QUOTE
