Saranac pale ale is very good...and their black and tan (if they still make it).They sell Saranac here. I want to try that. I like silver bullets sometimes. They are very light. I can have a couple without getting that really full feeling.
I grew very fond of Weizen beer from my days in Bavaria. Only didn't like the Pilsners there. They had so much hops that they were nearly corrosiveThere are a lot of regional beers here. A lot of German immigrants. Most of those beers are fairly nasty though.

People from upstate think anything south of Westchester is "the city". I live in surburbia 50 miles from Manhattan.People from the city think Albany is upstate. I am 2 hours north of upstate.

It's an acquired taste. I like Pike Place Stout for a local stout.I had a Marine DI who was addicted to Guinness Extra Stout. I thought it was nasty and hated getting the grains stuck in my teeth.

It's Belgian...Leffe Blonde...one of my top 3 favorite beers. Recommended by my favorite beer advisor...lolNever heard of it. My mobility to the beer store has been limited lately.
Their summer ale hit the shelves already..i've never tried it.Sam Adams Boston Lager commercial on TV now. Makes me want one of those.
