your right somebody has to pay for it. so let wall street the parasitic force in teh economy.

dont forget an education is about teaching people how to think NOT just skills to do a job.

problems with your poorly thought out solution.

they've already crunched the numbers and determined that wall street can not pay enough to pay for Bernies plan, Bernie then admitted he would have to raise everyones taxes.

Second my 401 k as well as most others depend on wall street.
The corporations who shares are bought and sold on wall street employ many people . you socialist like to look down the barrel of a gun while you shine up the trigger and think you're safe.

He never did answer my question. I asked him if he had children.

the median wage is $16/hr in america now. its no secret the middle class is dying. .

you have to watch how you phrase things. The middle class has shrunk. it clearly will never die. While it has shrunk a percentage of the movement has moved to the upper class and some to the lower class.

but we talk about the middle class shrinking like its all bad when it also means there is some good going on.

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
I don't think Trumps old, white supporters have a grasp of economics either. Who do you think would pay the tariffs on any imports? Short answer is the consumer.
We already pay tariffs on some imports.

As a UPS driver, you should know this.

I don't think tariffs on goods is the complete answer. I personally would like to see heavy taxes on American corporations who move manufacturing and operations over sees or across the border to take advantage of cheap labor only to import those goods to the US for huge profit margins.

I think that is part of the solution.

I think we need a tax on all items imported into our country.

Most countries will have a competitive advantage and wage costs for American corporations to compete.

And then cut the income tax rates in half because of all the new income coming into our treasury.

Tariffs are just plain tricky .
Ever hear of the Chicken Tax .
American chickens were being sold in Europe , under cutting the domestic markets which in turn cause Europe to impose tariffs on imported chickens .
President Johnson signed the Chicken Tax which targeted dextrin ,brandy , potato starch and light trucks being imported to the USA to pay a 25% tax .
The light truck was aimed at Volkswagen , whose VW Van was classified as a light truck and quite popular at the time .
The reason why the VW was included was because Johnson had made a side deal with the UAW not to call for a strike prior to the 1964 elections and to support him on his civil rights program .
Now a side effect of the Chicken Tax was that all importers of light trucks were subject to the 25% tax . Many Japanese trucks were shipped to the USA without beds or box attached which only subjected them to a 4% tax .
In 1980 that loophole was closed and every truck was charged the 25% tax .
Since then dextrin , potato starch and brandy has been removed from the Chicken Tax , but trucks remain . In 2012 Ford ran into trouble when it was importing their Transit Vans from Turkey. So they lobbied for removing the tax for American-based companies, even on their imports, but keeping it for everyone else.

That statement is more ignorant than one can imagine.
