I don't even think they will. Deflationary forces are incredibly strong. Alzheimer's on Pennsylvania Avenue is the only reason we have inflation at all. It's a political phenomenon, not monetary.

We will never see high rates again.
This is more than Pennsylvania Ave. This is the planet sir. It is changing before your eyes 👀. Boiling frog style

Current levels of worrisome inflation are 100% driven by political incompetence, shut downs, red tape, and other politically-oriented supply chain problems.

Previous levels of accepted inflation were normal and monetary in nature.

But the structural forces on our economy are so deflationary that they have to print tons of money just to get us up to 1 to 3% inflation in a normal year.

Sorry to tell you none of those years were normal. People are just realizing. Education is spreading.

I'm guessing you're one of those Peter Schiff disciples, Ron Paul disciples, Lew Rockwell Disciples, or other Austrian economics guys who has been predicting hyperinflation for 100 years and it still hasn't happened.

You think inflation comes from deficits?

You think the Fed's balance sheet is affected by deficits?

You know the Fed means the Federal Reserve and not the Federal Government, right?
Hence money printing. We all know it’s all independent and separate right? Like judges, police, prosecutors.

The Fed doesn't get its money printing instructions by how much teh federal government deficit is.

Completely unrelated. Holy cow.

They could run a surplus and we'd print money. They could run a deficit and we wouldn't have to print money. Wow.

Lol. We will print to infinity now. NO CHOICE. We are cardboard people who make good $. But alas the monster is on us also. Education and action is the point. You “seem” to know a little. Educate and share with people. Trying to blow up truth wastes your perceived talents.

Education is what I'm providing. Deflation is a bigger threat. The fed has to print to infinity just to keep inflation where it is. Hyperinflation is completely off the table, unless it is politically-induced by Captain Alzheimer's destroying our supply chains.

Education begins with the very simplest things. The federal government deficit does not require the Federal Reserve to act in any fashion at all. Bringing it up means you fundamentally misunderstand how the system works.

Deflation is not going to happen.
