You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
For those that bought trac and don’t have it working for them you’re missing out. I am currently making over 20% APY staking my tokens. This isn’t your typical crypto paying with inflation tokens. This is a non inflationary token paying out revenue from client usage of the product to the token holders.

Here’s a calculator to estimate your returns. TRAC – OriginTrail DKG Staking

This is the revenue growth the network has seen. All of this with the network bottlenecked at 30k publishes per day and 100x scaling solution to be released this week.

This is the equivalent of bashing open source code because most GitHub repositories are just worthless Unchanged forks of actual projects.

Such a hasty generalization of the whole.

He's not wrong though. Many of those alts are just pump and dump schemes to get people's fiat. And many of those developers take that fiat and buy BTC. It's clever really. And sad that so many fall for it.

Many altcoins are pump and dumps.

I’ve seen thousands come and go.

But you can’t say that just because the internet has sketchy websites the only real website is Google.

Sure, there’s a lot of sketchy projects.
But you can’t use that as a valid basis for writing off altcoins as a whole.

Real? No. But I think he meant viable. So, Id I'd say a more accurate and fair comparison would be in regard to acceptance and use since there hasn't really been a pump and dump market for browsers. Failures? Sure. BTC is Chrome. There are some alts that can be likened to Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc. The rest are a mix of pump and dumps and failures to due to lack of interest.

That's how I see it.

Cryptocurrencies are tools. Simple as that.

You can argue that the only tools you need are a saw and a hammer, but the markets disagree with you.

The gimmicks and scams will drop by the wayside, but anyone who can build something useful will probably find a market.

If it can solve a problem, it has a much better chance of standing the test of time.

I think this "Hawk Tuah" gal is the funniest thing going at the moment. I wonder what mom and dad's reaction was the first time someone pointed it out to them. A proud moment no doubt.
