Well, it isn't really a normal working day, now is it? It is a negotiated holiday that management is forcing its employees to work. Management is trying to quietly act as if it is a normal working day. It was easy to see this becoming an issue that would be dealt with in the upcoming contract. I find it hard to believe that the union would just give this up without some sort of concession from the company.
Really not my fight any more, worked my last day one week ago today!!!
We used to have Chistmas and the day after off years ago, but lost that. It became part of what comprises your option week. If giving up BF, something similar should occur.
