Blowing out a day route is bad

Lol, after 15 years, no. Took the portable pension, paid for coding camp, and now I make more than double express top out starting out, and I work from home.

I understand if it’s Peak Season and everyone helps out where they can. But it seems like almost every late afternoon dispatch or managers are calling or messaging to go take deliveries off another route or worse; do the front end of a night route. Of course most times the answer is no. Until recently I’ve been told you have to. Between stagnant raises, crap help, crap mgt, coming cameras installed in trucks, etc. I’ve never given more thought to resigning than I did the past few days.
It would be the best thing you ever did! Believe me I quit in July after 17 years at express and quite literally it was the best move I could have made. If you have any marketable skills just do it, life is so much better once you get out.

I’m still years younger than you were slinging cardboard. Also,I can retire at any time.
You bitch, whine and cry and then say you can retire anytime you want. Just shows that you work just so you will have something to bitch, whine and cry about. Why clock in every day if you are so miserable?
