Bragging About Your Wages On Social Media Is Just Dumb!

The killer is that 9 hours is really 11. Forced hour lunch and 30 minutes of commute and walking for most.

So that's being gone from 830am to 730pm and yes, that's excessive and bad for family men.
I agree it's definitely bad for a family man and if I was gone 11 hours a day I wouldn't like it either. But we don't have a forces lunch here so I'm not gone that long.

Also in my opinion you can't really figure your commute time into excessive OT. UPS didn't choose where you live.

So how would you fix the problem? Realistically an 8 hr day isn't going to happen everyday as there are to many variables at play. In your opinion whats the answer?

The answer is an 8 hour day in return for lower pay. It'll never happen, because drivers are addicted to the dough and the OT. Their ex-wives need to get paid. And their out of wedlock kids.
An 8 hour day at 30/hr and I'd start driving right now.
But the rest of my life matters too much to make the sacrifice of missing my entire kids' childhoods or messing up my marriage. No thanks to 50 hours + commute, let alone 60 hours. Screw that.
8 hours mandate for all 5 days is the only thing I'd take to go driving.

So, I love PT.

I love when UPS can’t hire anyone

Then they get down on there little knees and beg drivers to help them 😭

Notice the lack of discipline lately?

My building have drivers that work 9 to 4 everyday and bonus an hour or more everyday. Just depends on how hard you want to work.

No that won't ever happen, and I wouldn't want it to. With inflation right now no way we should be giving money back for any reason. I bet you wouldn't find but a handful of drivers if any who would take a payout for less hours.

Glad PT works for you
