Booked a cruise today. Brings me to 8. This one's for April of 2024, over 2 years out.
I need an intervention...
8 total or 8 future booked?

Got home today from a Cruise to Key West and Cozumel. Christmas Sweaters were marked down to almost free so OF COURSE I had to buy on and wear it to dinner! The Six Toed cats at the Hemingway house were very cool. We are leaving for a Viking Seine River Cruise April 12,and I'm looking pretty closely at going to Alaska in June

We're going with a pretty big group of friends. There's already talk of chartering our own ride. Remember, we all just booked this two days ago, AND it's over 2 years out. Bunch of crazies we cruise with...!
In that case charter for the day and do some beaches and snorkling.

Okay folks, here we go again. We need input from the BC crowd. Should we do the same itenerary so that those that didn't go can have a similar experience? I'm sure that some of the crowd that already went (OI) would go again.:wink2: Maybe we can do a cruise from the west coast? We set up a 7 day cruise this time, which everyone seemed to enjoy, so I think we'll keep that length. We also need to vote on what time of year would be best. I've already spoken to Amy, who said she would come up with some good choices. So let's see a show of hands for who is interested in BC Cruise II!!!
Are you kidding? I could hardly stand my co-workers from UPS when I was working there.
When I visit the hub I go see the mechanics at the shop.
Better class of people.

On my bucket list. I keep wondering what month would be the best month to best catch the Northern Lights.
Excursions are ridiculously expensive...
To really see the Northern lights you have to be above the Arctic Circle. Best places to see them are Iceland and Norway

The White Pass Train in Skagway was expensive but I have never seen such natural Beauty. The Alaskan Excursions are 100% worth every penny.

Yep an Alaska Cruise is not far enough North. Sept-March maybe the best months for Northern Lights. Most mainstream Alaska cruises dont cruise then.

Got home yesterday from a 7 day Viking Cruise Paris and the Heart of Normandy. It was a fantastic cruise and as always Customer Service with Viking was absolutely top notch!
Paris is beautiful and reminds me a bit of Manhattan as there are lots of people walking every where, lots of languages spoken, pickpockets, scammers and GREAT food. Of course one of the first things I saw was a UPS truck lol
