Who buys insurance when you travel out of the country? What coverage does you regular plan offer, if any, out of network, or out of country. Something to consider for sure.

This guy received a $47,000 bill.

This guy needs a lawyer.

I always get travel insurance, but never from the cruise line.
I'm mostly concerned with Evacuation coverage. In a medical emergency, the US Coast Guard will helicopter you to a land hospital for free. Private companies and outside the US will cost you literally hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I spent most of a day once in the ships medical center. They gave me intravenous fluids, a chest xray. The bill was only $350, and my extra insurance covered it. BCBS told me we have "worldwide coverage" and they would have covered it too.

InsuremytripDOTcom, use it every cruise. They give you a lot of plans, you pick the one you like.

Wash your damn hands you Philistines

It’s amazing how many people do not wash their hands after using the bathroom. It is a pet peeve of mine so I always notice when guys use the bathroom and then go straight out. Even after taking a 💩. Then can you imagine these same kind of people in the buffet line handling the spoons and tongs. 🤮
