I know they're thinking "Oh it will be easier for loaders to remember!" Without realizing it will inevitably lead to packages being placed in the wrong spot because of the similar letters

I remember years ago they wanted all floor positions to be taken out unless they had 10 or more pcs or something. Such dumb ideas from above, it scares me sometimes.

Not to mention easier for new loaders ehhhh maybe.


Totally ed for current loaders yes and for drivers as well.

Easier to teach, but it opens up the possibility for more mistakes.

And as for the drivers.....I fielded about 10 calls today asking why the dispatcher did something stupid with their load positions. Not my call guys, hate it as much as you do.

I never really dealt with floor positions until I got here. On a 30 route day (big day) in the old building we would legitimately only have 7 or 8 with floor positions. It was just too rural. Here, holy hell.
