You don't see the Irish complaining about people using them as mascots. Notre Dame, lucky charms etc. Has there been any polling done to say just how many Native American are opposed to the use of Indian mascots?

Their culture and heritage probably means more to them than most ethnic groups in America. And for good reason. It's pretty much all they have left after white European's pretty much wiped them out. They are viewed as second class citizens by the majority of white America. If I was in their shoes, I'd say you get your own damn white mascot.
