Yep the runner lowered his head so that it hit the defenders helmet.

The problem is if the defensive player hits him with his shoulder between the numbers and the ball carrier's head snaps forward and bumps helmets they tend to call targeting.

That Ohio State call was BS. The Missouri guy was head hunting. Wasn't trying to jar ball loose.

Ohio State had another targeting call in the 2nd half that was legit. Not a hard hit but it was the QB after he started to slide. You can't even breathe on him then.
