I remember when I got my motorcycle license. Its just an endorsement on a regular drivers license and even though I had just renewed my license 6 months earlier I still had to pay for a whole new license.

I am moving next summer and asked the clerk if I would have to pay for a whole new license just to do a change of address. He told me that I would submit the information and they would send me a new license free of charge.

BTW, folks at the DMV hate the DMV website.

The cops in the suburbs care a lot more than the city ones. But even still, the hiding places suck.
